Meet Remote Waters, the Chilean Startup That Helps Rural Communities Get Purified Water

Pablo Cassorla, founder and CEO of Remote Waters

Remote Waters provides water purification systems to rural communities that do not have access to clean and safe water. The process is carried out by solar-powered machines that do not produce CO2. Polluted water can be extracted from several sources like the sea, rivers, lakes and wells, and then goes through different filtration processes that eliminate pollutants like viruses, bacteria, and biological waste, including feces. The result is clean water, suitable for human consumption.

The startup was founded in 2018 by Pablo Cassorla, and already has projects in several regions of Chile. Internationally, Remote Waters has started negotiations for projects in the United Stated, Colombia and Uruguay.
