Miguel Medina, Angel Arias and Antonio Martinez, founders of Plerk

Plerk offers all-in-one digital memberships for employers to distribute benefits within their employees. These benefits are in various areas, such as wellbeing, education, entertainment and telehealth.

Plerk was born in 2020 after its founders, Miguel Medina, Angel Arias and Antonio Martinez, decided to stop working on Isibit, a corporate travel startup they were growing at the renowned Y Combinator program. One of the main reasons for them to start the new company was to improve the lives of employees in Mexico, where benefits have never been a priority beyond food vouchers.

The company recently raised a Series A round led by Upload Ventures. Previous investors Magma Partners, 500 Global, and MGV Capital also participated in the round. The founders of Rappi, Frubana, and Truora took part as angel investors.
