Humand builds HR and communication tools for "frontline" employees — the roughly 80% of the global workforce that doesn't sit at a desk, like warehouse, factory, hospital, and hospitality workers, who are often left out of standard workplace apps. Its platform bundles about 20 tools into one app, including internal messaging, time-off requests, goal tracking, and attendance, plus an AI assistant called Sammy that helps employees get quick answers to HR questions.
The company has raised USD $66 million in a Series A round co-led by Kaszek Ventures and Goodwater Capital, with participation from Newtopia VC, Y Combinator, and angel investors Arash Ferdowsi, Sebastián Mejía, Rajat Suri, and Marcos Galperin.
