Buk is a cloud-based human resource management software that unifies a wide range of HR functionalities into a single system. This is done by starting with the selection process of candidates and onboarding them into the team, followed by an end-to-end management of their activities in the workspace, from the payment of salaries to professional development.
The startup was founded by Jaime Arrieta, Santiago Lira, Teresita Moran, Felipe Sateler and Ricardo Sateler, and currently serves more than 4,000 companies throughout the region.
Buk's latest funding round was led by Greenoaks, with the participation of Base10 Partners and Softbank Latin America Ventures. The funds will be used to facilitate its expansion into the Brazilian market and support its long-term growth plans in Mexico, Chile, Peru and Colombia.
