Colombia's Voice AI Platform Vozy Raises USD $5M Series A to expand into the US and Spain

Vozy is the leading voice AI platform in the region. The startup offers three main products: Lili, a the conversational assistant, Speech Analytics, a conversation analysis tool and Voice Biometrics for user identification.

The company, founded in 2016 by Humberto Pertuz, Ricardo Marin, Alejandro Lopez and Helmuth Corzo, currently serves over 150 companies in 16 countries.

Their latest funding round was led by GoHub Ventures, a Spanish fund with previous experience in Deep Tech. Starling Ventures, SaxeCap, Globant and Enlaces were other funds that participated in the round, while Arash Ferdowsi (founder of Dropbox) and Alan Rutlegde took part as angel investors.

With this capital the startup will invest in R&D and brand strategies, in order to enter two key markets within their international expansion plans: the United States and Spain.
