Ravena helps hospitals and clinics in Brazil get paid correctly and faster. Medical billing is notoriously complicated — every insurance plan has different rules for what it will and won't cover — so Ravena's software plugs into a hospital's existing systems, reads the clinical records, checks them against each insurer's contract terms, and automatically generates accurate claims, managing the whole billing cycle from treatment to payment.
The company has raised USD $7.6 million in a seed round led by Canary, with participation from Flourish Ventures and Caravela Capital.
