Pinbank Raises USD $19.6M Credit Facility Structured by XP

Brazilian payments platform Pinbank raised USD $19.6M through a receivables fund structured by XP to expand its merchant-acquiring business.

Pinbank runs the plumbing that lets Brazilian merchants accept payments — credit and debit cards, Pix transfers, and digital wallets — and then turns that transaction history into financial products businesses can borrow against, like working capital advances tied to their future card sales.

The company has raised USD $19.6M through a Credit Rights Investment Fund (FIDC), a Brazilian structured-debt vehicle, which was structured and distributed by XP. The financing will expand the funding capacity behind Pinbank's card-acquiring business.

The raise follows a period of strategic repositioning and corporate reorganization at Pinbank, including investment in its technology infrastructure. The company currently processes about USD $784.4M in payment volume annually.
