Brazilian GovTech Startup Aprova Digital Raises USD $4.25M

Aprova Digital is a platform that digitizes processes in public bodies. The GovTech startup aims to simplify access to municipal services, reduce the operating costs of city halls and add more security and speed to their processes. They have already helped more than 75 Brazilian cities save more than 300 thousand tons of paper and R$ 50 million (USD $10M) in costs. Currently, around 21 million Brazilians are impacted by the modular solutions of Aprova Digital when using government services through the platform.

The startup founded in 2017 by Marco Antonio Zanatta recently raised a USD $4.25M seed round. The investment was led by Astella and VOX Capital, managers of the Corporate Venture Capital Fund BB Impacto ASG, from Banco do Brasil. Endeavor and CAF (Development Bank of Latin America) also participated in the round.
